About
Welcome to the FEED. This machine fosters art.
A History
The Fayetteville FEED was founded somewhere between 1884 and May of 2009, by writer James Johnson and Photographer Raul Rubiera. The FEED was originally intended to be a strictly online publication – however, it became inexplicably popular (woot), which led to the creation of The Fayetteville FEED Magazine, which would be published every month by none other than popular Irish folk artist and business man Paddy Gibney.
Our first print issue was February, of 2010. In November of 2010, the FEED decided to take a break from slaughtering trees, so as to expand our online publication’s reach.
Our new redesigned website, launched in April 2011, paved the way for our much anticipated return to print on June 1st, 2011! Now, under the ownership and management of the original founders, FEED Magazine dropped “Fayetteville” from the name as we plan to expand our distribution to Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill, Wilmington and Charlotte in the near future.
Bring on the revolution.
